By using our website and services, including submitting a Free Assessment or enrolling in our messaging programs, you agree to these Terms.

1. SMS Program Name & Description

Cañas Recruiting Agency SMS Notification Program

The Cañas Recruiting Agency SMS Notification Program provides users with recruiting-related text messages including:

Free Assessment confirmation and follow-up
Scheduled call reminders and appointment confirmations
Recruiting updates and next-step notifications
Account and service-related alerts
Responses to inquiries submitted through our website
Customer support communications
Promotional offers, special announcements, and marketing updates (with separate explicit consent)

Message frequency varies depending on user interaction and service activity.

2. Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to the number from which you received the message.

Upon sending STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you have consented to both transactional and promotional SMS, sending STOP will unsubscribe you from all SMS programs.

3. Rejoining Instructions

To rejoin the messaging program after opting out, sign up again through the original opt-in method used (website form, Free Assessment form, or booking form), and we will resume sending SMS communications.

Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with our services.

For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider directly.

6. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Cañas Recruiting Agency LLC is not responsible for delays caused by carrier networks, technical issues, or circumstances outside of our control.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

8. Age Restriction

Our SMS messaging program is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, OR for minors (student-athletes ages 13–17) whose parent or legal guardian has provided consent and is actively managing the account on their behalf. By opting in to our SMS program, you confirm that you meet one of these conditions.

We do not knowingly enroll minors under the age of 13 in our messaging programs without verified parental consent. If you believe a minor has been enrolled without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately.

9. Service Agreement

By engaging Cañas Recruiting Agency’s services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Our services are designed to support the college soccer recruiting process for student-athletes and their families.
Results, including scholarship amounts and program placements, are dependent on the athlete’s academic profile, athletic ability, recruiting timeline, and availability of collegiate programs. No specific outcome is guaranteed.
All service fees are agreed upon prior to engagement and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the assessment and recruiting process.
Both the student-athlete and a parent or legal guardian are required to participate in scheduled strategy calls.

10. Compliance with Industry Standards

Our messaging program complies with applicable industry standards, including A2P 10DLC requirements, carrier guidelines, and CTIA messaging principles.

Users may only enroll in our messaging program through explicit opt-in methods.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on canasrecruiting.com — including the Scholarship Positioning System™, written content, branding, graphics, and methodology — is the exclusive property of Cañas Recruiting Agency LLC. Unauthorized reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cañas Recruiting Agency LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
